My Wonderful White Christmas, in Photos and Scripture

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
(John 1:5)

"Be still and know that I am God.  I will be exalted in the nations.  I will be exalted in the earth."
(Psalm 46:10)

"Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you."
(2 Thessalonians 3:16)

"You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands."
(Isaiah 55:12)

Merry Christmas, friends.  I hope yours was filled with peace, love, and joy.
(And snow!)

Alison, Are you familiar with Anne Voscamp? She has a wonderful blog called 1000 Gifts. You are certainly kindred spirits. She has several books as well, ONE THOUSAND GIFTS being the centerpiece.

Your writing is wonderful. You have bloomed in a lovely way from the little girl I once knew. It is a joy and a blessing to see.

I hope I see you again for a long talk some day. There's a chance with Chad living in CF again.

Fondly, Joan Huhn

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, Joan! And thanks for all the nice compliments! :)

I'm a bit familiar with Ann Voscamp, but I haven't yet read any of her work. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hopefully we do overlap in CF at some point!
